The secret of confidence is to know your resources.

Find a practice problem to show what you can do.  Just write your solution.  You can decide whether to carry it out later.

Start with a piranha problem to warm up your brain.  Use the problem-solving pages as needed.  If you are not yet ready for self-confidence, here is your chance to chicken out.  Just pick problems that are too hard for you to solve.

Brain Sprints

Review what you did on the practice problem to see if you still need improvements. Trial Runs

Do the same thing for several more problems.  Include problems you would really like to solve.

Choose a problem that you think you have a good solution for.  Carry it out.  Be sure your brain is watching.

Notice obstacles.  Make a list of them.   Challenge them.  One at a time.  Cross them off your list as you cut them down.

Use the Troubleshooting Clipit to challenge obstacles.

Obstacles are a God-given opportunity to show what you can do.

If you want more self-confidence, work on other people's problems.

Even if you don't get self-confidence, you'll  get a lot of problems solved.  Other people will mistake that for self-confidence.  You may make that mistake yourself
