Selby Evans is Thinkerer Melville in Second Life

An acronym is a string of letters, preferably pronounceable, that lists the first letter of each term in a list.  Acronyms are often used as shorthand names:  url; NASA; POTUS.   You can also use acronyms to remember an ordered list.  The main alternatives to memorizing are

Similes, metaphors
Narrate
Imagine
Familiars
Features, descriptors

SNIFF.  So if you don’t want to memorize, try a SNIFF.   This is only an illustration.    If you want to remember these skills, print out the Study Skills Checklist. No point in using your brain to remember what paper can remember for you.

Team Study.  Everybody bring an acronym.  Put them together and everybody picks one to use.
