| Back Story: Barbara is the first person in her family to go to college. Parents are struggling to send her. She feels the responsibility to make good use of this opportunity. She needs to select a major. But she is in conflict over parent's wish for her to seek a practical career ("like accounting") and her interest in fashion and advertising and in the activities in second life. |
| Scenario: Barbara goes to a fashion show in Second Life. She realizes that this is much like the marketing of fashion in real life. She sees that she might be able to use some capabilities in second life in the development of an advertising campaign for real clothing. She finds that Teazers can help her develop her skills at making clothes to fit her RL career goals in marketing and advertising. She makes the clothes. She takes stills and uses them in an advertising project she is doing in college. |
