By now you will have seen that the main story of problem-solving is translation from the language of complaint to the language of action. You will also have noticed that this translation brings on a growing sense that the solution will take effort. You remember making such discoveries yourself. It is an issue to be handled in the Choose Clipit. In this case, the child may be starting to suspect that doing the boring homework will be easier than trying to make it less boring. This, of course, is one of the lessons in growing up: Fixing things is a lot easier when somebody else does it.
