What does this have to do with Zen and existentialism?

How to get into Second Life without really trying

Selby Evans is Thinkerer Melville in Second Life

Only what you find.  And what you will find is what you bring with you.

If you are familiar with either of these viewpoints, you will see that we have made some references to them here and there.    You may also see places where we have used these viewpoints.  You may even find it intriguing to notice how we use the viewpoints.  If you do that, you will see how deeply we are indebted to them.

Tell me and I forget.  Show me and I remember.
 Involve me and I understand.

We will not present an analysis of the relationship of the Thinkerer to these viewpoints.  People who understand Zen or existentialism would not expect an analysis.  Indeed, they would not tolerate it.
