| A myth is not a female moth | |
|
Myths, parables, and fables. Fiction. Not true. At least that’s what your language channel will say. Call them analogies, metaphors and similes, if those technical terms make your language channel feel better about it. The other modules in your brain won’t care about the name, but they will understand the message. Myths and those other things are not intended to communicate facts. They are intended to share things we understand from common experience. Things understood by those quiet modules. Things that are deeper and more important than words. |
